A batsman hits the ball 1m above the ground imparting to the ball a speed of 40m/s. The ball is caught by a fielder 60m away at a height 1m from the ground. If the fielder was 45m away from the batsman and in the same line how high above the ground would his hands be to take the catch.

Can a White Castle Waitress really call a customer Little Miss Monster for years without being reprimanded?

Can a White Castle Waitres really call a customer Little Miss Monster for years and year without being reprimanded it would seem so on March 3rd, 1970 at the White Castle Resturant on 59th and Lexington in New York City. We went to public school a few blocks away and used to go to the legendary eatery for the lunch hour rather than eating in the school cafeteria or bagging it like the other 'normal' kids. Remember what I am saying about the parents of the children in this story who "Float Like A Butterfly & Sting Like A Bee"!

I got a strange high. What was I on? Was the weed spiked?

It had a lot of THC in it that's what happened to me when I stupidly ate a whole weed candy bar after I'd only smoked it once.

Sweeney Todd. Green Finch and Linnet Bird lyrics?

You've never heard this verse before, because it's not in the 2007 Tim Burton movie. This verse is only found in stage versions of the musical (which I also recommend looking up). Sweeney Todd started as a story a long time ago, and grew into a play and then a musical. There's lots of filmed versions of both, and lots of movies with Sweeney Todd, but a different story. Anyway, a lot of people made movies of it, but Tim Burton's is the most well known (which is not a bad thing. He took his genius and added to something already amazing)

How often does a small/medium stream flood?

I would say it depends upon the stream: some may flood almost every year, others, only once every several years. If this is for a dissertation, you will need exact data: hydrological information should be available from the government, and you can ask experts in government departments as well. I;d say you are unlikely to find the level of accuracy you need for a dissertation, in this rather general forum.
