Can someone define the term "spiritual need" for an atheist?

Atheists do not know what having a spiritual need is. Yet they come to Yahoo Q&A to answer questions. Why? not because they want to impart knowledge but because they have a need to speak about things that affect their inner being. The way God made us to conduct ourselves. The way every human who has ever existed have sought to find a god.
