How do i learn the technique for cosmic consciousness?

those who have read autobiography of a yogi know that paramahansa yogananda had learnt the technique for cosmic consciousness at will from his guru Sri Yukteshwar and after learning the technique he imparted it to others. Now, are there a few people who know how to do this technique at will or is the technique lost?
