How do you cook tofu?
Tofu is so versatile-endless ways to use it! What I do so as to not waste paper towels-place in a collander over a bowl-and let drain naturally-then after about 10 minutes-push down with your palm-and let drain again. Make sure you use the extra firm tofu if you are doing mock fish sticks, etc..You can also put it in the freezer ahead of time, thaw it-and it will be much firmer. I use tofu for so many things in my restaraunt-I make tofu mayo, tofu sour cream, tofu cheese, scrambled tofu for breakfast in burritos, as a scrambled egg, etc.. Go on the web and type in these things I have mentioned(not enough room to give you recipes)-and try some for yourself! Go to the library and check out some vegetarian books or vegan books-lots of great recipes that way too! Have fun-and have a health day!
