How much processed food is okay to have in a day?

Processed food = bad! Avoid preservatives, refined sugars, and gluten. Lara bars are awesome! And just go to the health food store - some of their cereals are pretty good (check the ingredients - buy ones made of ancient grains/no preservatives!). also you could switch to something like puffed millet with some seeds, nuts and fruit instead of cereal (and make your own almond milk). Make sure to eat lots of dark greens too!
